LOOKING for info

Hey,

I have a mint condition 2002 ETC, black on black with everthing that I could possibly put on as an extra. Being anal about my car, I noticed that some &$%#@ dumbass put a door ding on my driver's side front fender just above the wheel. It is so slight that the ding pullers at the dealership can't get it out.

Can someone here shed some light on how I can get this fixed without spending an arm and two legs.

Also, I have had the most interesting problems with the radio...I am on my fourth replacement.

I know this sounds kinda corny, but order the ding king (what you have seen on TV), and try using that on your door ding. I've used it several times on small dings and hace had great results.

Hope this helps, BTW an ETC is a GREAT Car. I had an 01 for a while and loved it.

put a band aid on the ding and check to see if there is a recall on the wiring for the radio after the second replacement i would have gone nutz on the dealer for the issue since it is a reaccuring problem. i hope you didnt have to pay for the radios.

There's an old trick that works on motorcycle tanks for small dings . . . dry ice.

Dry ice applied to a concave ding in a convex surface will often pull the ding out, as it will foce it to contract and pop itself straight.

Worked woderfuly on my Katana, and the ding I had was about 1/4 dime size.
